Privacy Policy
In short: Forge Worlds contains no ads, doesn't track you across other apps or websites, and sells no data. We only keep what's needed to run your game.

Who is responsible for your data

What the game keeps
Your game: progress, items, pets, mounts, delivered purchases and settings, linked to an account created automatically the first time you launch the game (a Player ID). It is stored on your phone and on our servers, which also keep its last 30 saves.
What you show others: your blacksmith name, your hero's appearance, your power, your guild and your ranking.
Your messages in World chat and guild chat, and the reports you send or that concern you, for moderation.
If you link your account to Apple or Google: only the account identifier that Apple or Google sends us. Not your email address, your password or your contacts.
If you allow notifications: your device's notification address (Apple token) and its time zone, so we can notify you at the right time.
Your purchases: the transaction signed by Apple (transaction number, product, date), to deliver and restore your purchases. Payment takes place with Apple: we never see your payment details.
Your IP address is never stored: the server only uses it in the moment, to limit abuse.
What we don't do
No advertising, no ad tracking, no third-party analytics tools, no selling or sharing of your data for commercial purposes.
Why
To run the game you asked for (your game, cloud save, rankings, chat, purchases) and to keep it safe and respectful (anti-cheat, moderation). Notifications rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Where and for how long
The game server is in France. Cloudflare, our processor, carries the traffic between the game and the server (so it sees your IP address) and hosts this website.
Your data is kept as long as your account exists, with automatic deletions: chat messages after 60 days, arena battles after 28 days, login sessions after 180 days without use, claimed mail 90 days later, expired mail 30 days later.
"Delete my account" erases everything from the server immediately, chat messages included; the database backup copies then disappear on their own within 14 days at most.
Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, get a copy of it or have it erased, and object to its use. The easiest way: “Delete My Account” in the game's settings, or an email to contact@vaxel.fr. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the data protection authority of your country (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).
Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not seek to collect data from younger children; if this has happened, write to us so we can erase it.
This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement or advertising tools. Its fonts are hosted along with it. Like any website, its host keeps technical logs (including IP addresses) for security. The language you choose may be remembered in your browser, without ever being sent to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll say so in the game and on this page, along with its new date.
